Valtteri Bottas will not start Australian Grand Prix

Following a series of exams by the FIA Sunday morning, they have deemed that Valtteri Bottas is unfit to start the Australian Grand Prix today. Bottas injured his back during yesterdays qualifying session and stayed at the hospital overnight. The main concern of the FIA is that Bottas will not be able to get out of the car quickly enough should he need to during the race. Williams will be unable to replace Bottas for the race as they did not have another driver in the car on Saturday which means only 17 cars will start the opening Grand Prix of the year.
